Before entering Mecca cleansing and wearing simple clothes are required to show respect to God and fairness for everybody. People walk 7 times in the Ka’aba, the black cube in Mecca and walk through the hills of Safah and Marwah and to the plain of Arafath wHere the last sermon of Mohamed was held. The same evening people go camping at Muzdalifah. Meanwhile, back in Minah they throw stones at the pillars where they believe Satan tempted Abraham, however some people don’t believe in this belief, then sheep are slaughtered as part of the pilgrimage and given to the less fortunate afterwards. Before the final ritual they return to Minah to pray for 3 days. Before ending the final ritual, the people gather together around the Ka’aba  and do the Tawaf.
